What is an Android TV Box?
Android TV Boxes are mini PCs that run the Android operating system. It runs Apps that allow you to stream links readily available on the internet for Movies, TV Shows, Live TV, Sports, etc for free.

What is Kodi?
Kodi is an open source media player that gives you the power to stream media found on the internet via apps on your TV.

What content can I stream from Kodi?
You can install many apps available for Kodi found through Google Play (free and paid) as well as from 3rd party developers(free). There are apps for everything including for watching free Movies,
TV Shows, TV Channels, Live Sports, Boxing, UFC, WWE, and Re-Play missed Sports etc.

What add-ons come pre-installed on Android TV boxes?
All the Android TV boxes that we sell come with the most popular and reliable up to date Apps available online, allowing you to stream thousands of Free movies, TV shows and live TV. Other suppliers provide boxes online that come "Fully Loaded" with junk and outdated apps like Genesis or even dead apps that take up important storage space. Our TV boxes come to us from the manufacturer with just the operating system for us to load with what you need, leaving you with more space for the apps you want!

What internet speed do I need to run an Android TV Box?
For the best streaming quality we recommend hi speed broadband internet (Shaw, Telus) but in a pinch LTE via mobile hotspot from any cellphone will work.

What Video formats do Android TV boxes support?
Most Android TV Boxes support: HDMI 2.0 up to 4K2K @60 fps, and 3.5mm AV output (composite)

What is the best remote for any Android TV Box?
Wi-Fi keyboard/mouse remotes work much better than the standard TV style remotes. We carry Backlit I8 and H9 WiFi Keyboard/Mouse Remotes as well.

Do I need to pay any TV subscription to use an Android TV Box? Are there any extra costs involved?
You just pay for the box, no subscriptions. That’s it! (you just need internet access) Of course you can opt to pay for premium content ie Netflix, Hulu or an IPTV subscription but everything you need comes standard with all our boxes.

Can you connect with WiFi?
Yes you can connect your box either via Ethernet or by WiFi.

Can I get Cartoon Network or any other children’s channels for my kids?
Yes, there are lots of childrens content.

Does my Android TV Box work if I take it to a friends or families house?
Yes!!! Anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Do Android TV Boxes work overseas?
Yes. Anywhere with internet connection.

How do I get films on Android TV Box?
In Kodi, scroll to Videos and press down on your remote for shortcuts to Movies, TV Shows, Live Sports, ProSport, Boxing/WWE/UFC and Maintenance. You can press up for a list of all the video streaming apps that come standard on all our boxes for you to explore.

Is it possible to Web Surf with Android TV Boxes?
Yes they are a mini pc. You will find a Google Chrome app on the main menu of all our boxes.

Can I have a Android TV Box and Apple TV plugged into the same TV?
Yes. Plug each into different HDMI ports and you can change the input via your TV remote.
Does this have recent films on it?
Yes, new and old films. Whatever is uploaded onto the internet to online streaming sites which is tremendous and without the pop-ups or deceptive links. With that being said keep in mind that movies that are in theatres will often not have links or it's a terrible cam quality and it will take some time before a watchable then HD version becomes available.

How do I know if this will work on my TV?
If your TV has an HDMI port or AV ports (yellow,red,white) then it will work.

Is Android Box legal to use?
Yes, or you could not get them at Shoppers, London Drugs or Online. This is because it is not illegal in Canada to watch pirated content but it is illegal to have a digital or physical copy and Android TV boxes do not download any content just search for and provide you the links readily available online.

Can I watch TSN or AMC or other channels?
Yes, our boxes come with apps for Live TV and has a large selection of live TV channels.
Do you need to have a subscription to have the movies, sports and adult?
No. It’s all available on our boxes out of the box, however if you do want to purchase premium subscriptions you can also use them on our boxes. *Adult Apps do NOT come standard so if you wish to have them please ask.

How can I watch Geo-locked streams?
You will need to install a VPN. As a user I recommend using a VPN while you use your Android TV box. A VPN will unlock geo-blocked content and keep you anonymous online. There are many free and paid VPNs available on the market with great reviews, I recommend opting for a paid VPN because the best ones don't slow down your internet speeds.

How can I play retro games? Atari,Commodore 64, NES, Sega, SNES etc.
All our boxes come with a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator, ready for you to plug in any USB video game controller and enjoy hundreds of games from our childhood. (Basic or even replica NES/SEGA/N64/SNES controllers can be purchased through retailers or online) On top of that we are able to install emulators from Atari up to Nintendo 64 at your request in our Gamer Package. Systems newer than N64 require at least an intermediate box that we can custom order for you at a competitive price or bring us your own and we can set you up.

Is there a warranty?
Yes all our boxes come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty.

Whats the difference between your boxes and others I find online?
We buy our boxes from the manufacturer with just the operating system for us to set up for you. We found on our first box about 1 gigabyte of apps that we weren't interested in using, were broken/unreliable, or outdated/replaced by new apps. Unlike other "Fully loaded" boxes, ours come with what you need and the apps that we ourselves use and recommend. The biggest difference is how easy it is to use, we program each box with shortcuts that make its just a few clicks away from the movie, tv show, live sport and live TV channel you want to watch. We also provide customer support via email and our social media pages in a timely manner. Each box also comes with an instructions/quick info sheet as well as we provide tutorials through our website and YouTube. On top of all that, due to our existing relationships with the manufacturer we are able to handle any warranty issues for you, that way there is no need for you to ship your box away for a repair or replacement.
